{"id":36,"date":"2018-02-02T20:36:07","date_gmt":"2018-02-02T20:36:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jessica-fritz.com\/?page_id=36"},"modified":"2025-12-31T10:12:58","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T10:12:58","slug":"extracurricular-achievements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/jessica-fritz.com\/?page_id=36","title":{"rendered":"Teaching"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Supervision<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I supervise three PhD candidates\n<ul>\n<li>Nolik Schnittger<\/li>\n<li>Megan Bruns<\/li>\n<li>Marie Abraham<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>I have co-supervised two PhD-projects<\/li>\n<li>I supervise\/ have supervised more than 20 Bachelor and Master theses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Seminars<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am teaching the course \u201cResearch Internship: Psychotherapy Research\u201d to psychology master students, for the Department of Clinical Psychology, Universit\u00e4t Osnabr\u00fcck\n<ul>\n<li>Fundamentals of Open Science: Reproducibility, preregistration, data sharing, prevalence of reporting errors, questionable research practices, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Peer Review Process: Guidelines for writing peer reviews, &amp; critical examination of the process.<\/li>\n<li>Study Designs: In-depth review of research designs and their reporting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Practical Research Skills: Guidance on literature searching and writing scientific papers.<\/li>\n<li>Research and Practice: Examining the transfer of research findings into clinical care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>I have given seminars for KliPs (Clinical Psychodiagnostics), for the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Philipps-University Marburg, for example on topics like:\n<ul>\n<li>intake interview, classification and assessment of psychological disorders, advantages and disadvantages of different assessment methods (interview versus questionnaire), case conceptualizations, monitoring the therapeutic process, and assessing quality-of-life<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>I have given seminars for PBS-6 (Psychological and Behavioural Sciences) students, for the Department of Psychology, Cambridge University, on the topics:\n<ul>\n<li>What conceptual and methodological challenges are faced by researchers investigating the effects of childhood adversity on mental health?<\/li>\n<li>Why do not all people succumb in the face of adversity?
